Welcome to EJD

  • Dear EJD Families and Friends,

I hope everyone is having a relaxing and enjoyable summer vacation!  As we get ready to begin another school year, I continue to be impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm staff, students, and our community have in Phoenix.  It was refreshing last school year  to go back to past events and traditions we all have grown accustomed to and fond of.  I am excited to see even more this year, while continuing to create new memories and practices.  I have no doubt in my mind that together we will work to make the 2023-2024 school year memorable.  I am extremely proud and fortunate going into my 4th year as principal at EJD to have so much to look forward to.

While the last few years have been challenging in a variety of ways, I know that we all are looking forward to having some things behind us with the optimism of new and uncharted territory.  Throughout the years I have been here, Phoenix and EJD have always been focused on providing our students’ with the experiences and knowledge to help them grow as young adults, preparing them for the real world.  As we have persevered in years past, this will give us the experience and tools to continue to move our school community forward to achieve even more.  I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for us!

    Sincerely,
