Dear EJD Families and Friends,
As we prepare for a new school year and defining the new normal, I am eager to start another year as principal of Emerson J. Dillon Middle School. I continue to be impressed with the hard work and dedication of staff, students and the community, especially during uncertain times. While we still are unsure of what the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year will look like, one thing I am certain of is the high standard that staff, students and families hold when it comes to our students’ education.
EJD continues to be a great place where staff, students and the community continue to work together to ensure our students are supported and challenged academically. As always, I am impressed with the resiliency our students and staff have demonstrated when faced with adversity, especially after ending what proved to be a very unique year. I have complete confidence that as we navigate the start of this new year together, we will continue to overcome any obstacle we may face. I know that no matter what school will look like, we will continue to triumph and strive for excellence.
I look forward to the start of the school year. I know that as we have reflected in past years, we will look back on this year as one that will show our ability to overcome uncertainties. It will also solidify our strong foundation as a community to provide what is best for our students.
