12:1:1 Teacher

Director of Curriculum
The District is seeking interested applicants to fill an anticipated vacancy for a Director of Curriculum. Candidates must possess a valid administrative certification issued by the New York State Education Department. The District is seeking qualified applicants who are willing and ready to be a contributing member of our administrative team and have a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.
The successful candidate for this position will:

Report directly to the Executive Director

Provide leadership and direction for the development, revision and continuous

improvement of a guaranteed and viable curriculum.

Maintain a District Curriculum web page (include learning standards, curriculum maps, etc.)

Provide leadership, direction and support to ensure district utilized curricular programs are

fully and appropriately implemented in all schools.

In collaboration with administration, help to coordinate faculty, content-specific, and grade level meetings and assess program effectiveness.

Coordinate the selection, distribution and evaluation of all curricular materials, including textbooks.

Represent the school district in meetings and conferences related to curriculum.

Plan and coordinate the budget process for acquisition of curricular materials.

Substitute School Bus Drivers
The Phoenix Central School District is currently accepting applications for substitute bus drivers. Candidates must be 21 years of age and possess a clean, valid driver’s license. CDL B preferred, but not required. There is paid training to obtain a CDL B for the right candidates. Interested candidates must complete the application and turn in all materials to the district office.
Substitute Custodial Workers
The Phoenix Central School District is currently accepting applications for substitute custodial workers. Candidates must have knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment. Candidates should have the ability to perform cleaning tasks, follow oral and written instructions and use hand and power cleaning equipment. Must be flexible with hours, as shifts vary. Substitute Food Service Employees
The Phoenix Central School District Food Service Department is currently looking for food service professionals who are available between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Successful candidates would start as a substitute in the Food Service Department and can apply for a permanent employment as positions become available. Shifts vary. Food service, retail and cashier experience are very helpful. Interested candidates must complete this application and submit all materials to the district office.
