    Student scientists display work at MAM

    Complex formulas and hypotheses were put to the test recently during the annual science fair at Michael A. Maroun Elementary School.
    Thirty-six students in kindergarten through fourth grades spent weeks conducting research, developing their experiments, recording their findings and creating display boards. All that hard work was on display as the budding scientists stood alongside their projects and presented their findings to a panel of judges during the science fair.

    Frigid temperatures and snow didn’t stop members of the Phoenix community from getting together to clean up trash and debris throughout the village recently to celebrate Earth Day.

  • If you have a child that will be 4 years old by December 1, 2019, they would be eligible for our Pre-K program. Applications will be available on March 1, 2019 at the Michael A. Maroun Elementary Main Office for pick-up only, if interested. 

    Please keep in mind this is a government funded program and we can only accept 60 students.  The remainder of students will go onto a waiting list in the order drawn. If you are interested, please stop by on or after March 1, 2019.
