Welcome to EJD

  • Dear EJD Families and Friends,

As we begin a new school year, I am optimistic of what this year will bring. As I start my third year as principal, I understand how privileged I have been to work with this staff, these students, and our Phoenix community in navigating the obstacles presented by forces beyond our control. I am hopeful to see us get back to some of our past traditions and work even harder for our students. I am proud to say that now ,more than ever, I have the confidence as a staff and community we will continue to put our students' education, emotional needs and overall experience here at EJD as top priority.

I am thrilled to see EJD continue to redefine normal and adjust to the changes that these past few years have brought. While these challenges have required significant change and sacrifice, they have made EJD and Phoenix an even better place to be. I consider myself fortunate to be a part of a school community that has already overcome so much. Together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish in the upcoming school year and beyond.
