EJD Student Services
The Student Services Department at Emerson J. Dillon Middle School is made up of a school psychologist, school counselors, and a school social worker. The team uses their training and skills to work with parents, teachers and other mental health professionals to ensure that every child learns in a safe, healthy and supportive environment. The department understands child development, school systems and effective teaching, and is prepared to help alleviate difficulties that may otherwise impede successful learning.
Student Services professionals serve a vital role in maximizing student achievement. Incorporating leadership, advocacy and collaboration, the department promotes equity and access to opportunities and rigorous educational experiences for all students.
Collaborating with other faculty and staff to promote student achievement, Student Services addresses the needs of all students through prevention and intervention programs that are a part of a comprehensive district guidance plan.
