Welcome to Emerson J. Dillon Middle School

Welcome to the Emerson J. Dillon Middle School website. I am very proud of our school and am equally proud of this website. I hope that you come to rely on it as a source of information about EJD. I’m sure that you will notice that our webpage continues to evolve and grow as we do – so check back often for new information!

Emerson J. Dillon Middle School houses 650 students in grades 5, 6, 7 and 8. EJD students are members of “teams.” It is within these teams that students learn science, math, English/language arts, social studies and either French or Spanish. In addition, our students take a variety of special area courses, including physical education, art, music, consumer science, technology, skills, computers and health.

There also is a number of extracurricular activities for our students that include interscholastic athletics, award-winning band and chorus groups, French club, student council, yearbook and more. As you can see, our students at EJD have many opportunities to grow both academically and socially.

Finally, we are all working hard to make EJD the best middle school that it can be. Take some time to learn more about us as you continue your cyber-visit of EJD. Thanks for stopping by our website and I hope to see you soon in person at the Emerson J. Dillon Middle School in Phoenix!

Sincerely,
Sue Anderson
Principal
