Update - Good news! The USDA, working with our local and National School Nutrition Associations, have announced that they are eliminating the weekly maximums for protein and grains for the 2013-14 school year.
What this means: we will be able to keep the increases that we made on some proteins and grains as long as we meet calorie requirements. USDA will determine whether other adjustments beyond next school year are necessary.

WOULD YOU LIKE HELP PAYING FOR SCHOOL MEALS?
The 2012-13 Free and Reduced (25 cents) Meal Application is available. (link below) It only takes a few minutes to complete, and can save you money on your child's meals. Applications are available on this website, in main offices, kitchens, District Calendar, at Summer Lunch, and in the Food Service Office. Last year's applications will be expiring ~ new applications must to be received by the Food Service Office by 8/27 to be processed before school begins. Parents are responsible for the cost of meals prior to the applications approval.
