DATA MANAGEMENT
Evaluation and planning are continual processes in the school system, and both require the provision of complete and accurate data.
The Superintendent of Schools shall have the responsibility for establishing and maintaining a data collection, analysis, retrieval, and dissemination system which shall generate accurate statistical data and other information as may be desired or needed by local, state or federal authorities.
The Superintendent shall cause to be submitted all reports required by the State Education Department, the State Department of Audit and Control, the appropriate federal agencies and other competent authorities. Relevant data will be submitted to employee groups during or prior to negotiations. Data will also be given to the public in keeping with good principles of public relations.
Data will be compiled, analyzed, or summarized and submitted to the Board of Education at appropriate times.
