STUDENT TRANSPORTATION RECORDS AND REPORTS

There shall be established and maintained in the district a record-keeping system, wherein are recorded all data required for the various reports to the State Education Department and Claims for State Aid. In addition, records for local use, including daily mileage per bus, students transported, special trips, employee records, maintenance and repair records, and gas, oil, and anti-freeze use, shall be maintained.

The standard of care for the keeping of local records will be the maintenance of efficiency and protection against theft or misuse of supplies.
