SCHOOL BUS SCHEDULING & ROUTING

The Superintendent shall supervise the establishment of schedules, routes and stops for daily home-school trips, whereby factors of safety, efficiency, and economy are kept in balance, and the distance criteria established by the Board is observed.

The Superintendent shall also supervise the scheduling of field trips, co-curricular trips, and extra-curricular trips where, in his/her judgement, the educational program of students is enriched or extended. Approval of such trips will be subject to the availability of buses beyond the requirements for daily home-school service.
