MATERIAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
To promote student instruction and protect taxpayer interest, adequate provisions shall be made for receiving, storing and distributing supplies and equipment.
A long range program involving preventive maintenance, reconditioning, repair and replacement of equipment is acknowledged to be economical in the long run, and shall be fostered.
The Board may purchase insurance against loss, theft or damage to equipment upon the recommendation of the insurance agent.
When it is more economical to do so and allowed by statute, equipment may be leased or rented.
Records consistent with sound business principles shall be kept.
