CELLULAR PHONE POLICY
It is recognized that some district employees will be required to carry cellular telephones to meet their job responsibilities. Upon approval of the Superintendent, the District may reimburse employees for the monthly cost of personal cellular telephone contracts. The district’s standard procedure for reimbursement of employment-related expenses shall be used. Requests for reimbursement must be submitted in a timely fashion. The rate of reimbursement shall be at a rate of up to $25.00 per month for standard plans and up to $50.00 per month for plans that include data access. Amounts of reimbursement will be approved by the Superintendent of Schools. Approved employees accepting reimbursements shall agree to be accessible outside of normal school business hours.
The Superintendent may, with or without notice, revoke any employee’s authorization for reimbursement of personal cellular telephone expenses.
