SUPPORT STAFF RECRUITING AND HIRING

A diligent search shall be made both inside and outside the district for candidates for all vacancies in non-instructional positions so that the best available support staff may be employed. When all other factors are equal, a person residing within the district will be hired

The Superintendent shall make recommendations for employment of support staff personnel. The Board of Education shall take appropriate and timely action on these recommendations.

All Civil Service regulations relating to the selection and hiring of non-instructional personnel shall be adhered to.
