STAFF INVOLVEMENT IN DECISION MAKING

The Board of Education believes that those most deeply involved in an activity may have the greatest knowledge of the details of that activity. The Board, therefore, encourages the Superintendent and members of the Management Team to seek ways to secure this special knowledge as input in the decision making process.

In the preparation of the proposed budget, the Superintendent will involve the Management Team, teachers, and other appropriate members of the staff. When the Superintendent deems it appropriate, students may be involved in the proposed budget preparation process.
