FACILITIES PLANNING ADVISORS

In the making of long-range plans for school facilities, it is important that a wide range of resource persons be involved, so that the problem be explored in its widest range and to the greatest depth possible.

The Board recognizes that three general categories of persons should be involved in long-range planning:

1. Professional advisors including consultants, architects and attorneys.

2. Local personnel including the school staff, representatives of the community and representatives of local government.

3. Representatives of local government, at the county and state levels, representatives of those departments most directly involved, and at the federal level, representatives of those agencies promulgating regulations or providing potential funding.
